This is senior Braden Shaw’s third year on the JagWire staff and his first year as editor-in-chief. Outside of newspaper, Braden is involved in cross country, band, track & field, NHS and his youth group at his church. He also loves movies and hip-hop, and is a huge sports fan.

Archeology and Artifacts teacher Keil Hileman uses the 100-year-old candelabra he found in an abandoned church in a light demonstration for his class on Thursday, April 21. “I used to get $100 from each high school, and now I get nothing. I used to get free busing, and now there’s going to have to be a course fee,” Hileman said. “But I don’t care and I will make it work.
