Club Operation hosted a bake sale on Tuesday, March 6-Wednesday, March 7 to fundraise for an Earth Day event that has yet to be announced.
“The club is raising money to hold an earth fair festival for Earth Day,” club co-president junior Morgan Battes said. “Our goal is to get as much money as we can.”
Last year, the club celebrated Earth Day by planting a tree. The club members are excited for the opportunity to prepare a bigger event this year.
“I think it will benefit the entire club,” club co-president junior Ellen Bodine said. “Hopefully [the money] will be put to good use.”
