The Choral department hosted their holiday choir concert on the evening of Monday, Dec. 3. The combined choirs started the night off with “Masters in this Hall,” a traditional French carol.
The theme for the concert was “Here We Come A-Caroling” and it focused on traditional and classical holiday songs. As the concert ended, junior Alex Lauderdale shares how it went.
“I think it went pretty well having more practice this time. It ended up benefiting us,” Lauderdale said. “Without an accompanist it was pretty hard for awhile.”
Due to more practice time, the concert turned out to be a hit, and the pitch sounded just like it was supposed to.
“Our tone sounded really well,” Lauderdale said. “The whole vibe was very Christmas-like and very fun.”
