Molly Carr, JAG sports editor

This is sophomore Molly Carr’s first year on the JAG yearbook staff and will take on the position as sports editor/photographer. Other than being in yearbook, she is also apart of the Mill Valley varsity volleyball team. When she’s not at school, you can normally catch her playing club volleyball, binge watching Netflix or spending time with her friends and family.

At the beginning of the day, physics teacher Chad Brown reads the daily announcements for the day. “Sometimes I will go and look up quotes or jokes if I feel like including that but most of the time I read announcements that I need to include,” Brown said. “I incorporate jokes because it’s easier to hear a friendly voice in the morning to get your day started.”

On Thursday, Oct. 11, junior Hannah Davie chips the ball onto the green at the 6A Gardner Edgerton regional tournament. The team did great. We were playing in bad weather conditions in the morning and that had an effect on our scores, said Davie. Before state, we need to keep staying consistent throughout the rounds and finish strong on the last holes.

The Jaguar band performed their routines and received a two rating. We did really well today, Shulda said. Even though we made some new mistakes Im really proud of our work.
