The second half began with a fumble on the kickoff to the Jaguars, with the Bobcats recovering the ball on the Jag 13-yard line. They were able to use the opportunity to score their fourth touchdown of the night with 10:41 remaining in the third quarter. The two-point conversion was completed, and the Bobcats lead the Jaguars, 7-35.

Right away, the Jaguars took the field to score a touchdown on a pass from Windmiller to senior wide receiver Wade Hanna for 42 yards. The extra-point was good, but the Jags were still trailing 14-35 with 8:53 left in the third quarter.

The Jaguar defense forced the Bobcats to punt from their own 11-yard line, helped set up an 11 play scoring drive, and lead to Rice to scoring a 16-yard touchdown reception to bring the score to 21-35.

After a few changes of possession, the Bobcats added to their lead with a 6-yard touchdown to bring the score to 21-42 with 8:03 left in the game.
