Last year’s record: 15-7

Next game: Double header against Bishop Ward at 3&2 on Thursday, March 24

Coach’s perspective:

“I want us to play hard and to our abilities every day. Every game, regardless of who we’re playing, I want to put the best team out there. I want to continue to improve. We’ve improved a lot so far, and I want to continue to get better every day. Win the league is goal one, [make it to] state will be goal two and then we want to try to get that first game [at state], because that first day will be either you win or you go home, so I’d like to at least get that first one, and then we’ll take it from there. We want to get better every day, win the league and make state.” —head coach Jessica DeWild

Returning player’s perspective:

“[I’m excited about] getting to play with a bunch of new players and the competition we’ll meet. We also have new coaches, and there’s a new format of practices and games and a new way of doing things.” —sophomore Peyton Moeder

New player’s perspective:

“I’m excited for the team, and the team looks really good, so I’m excited to see how all of the games turn out. I’m excited to see how the team gets along and how we interact with each other and how we improve throughout the season.” —freshman Grace Lovett
