Review: 913 Nutrition is a hot new shake shop for teens

I had to drive roughly 18 minutes away from the school to get to 913 Nutrition, which wasn’t too bad with a friend but isn’t the most convenient. However, once inside and talking to the owner, I was told they were looking for more locations and could be interested in one around the Shawnee area.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by one of the owners, Kaylea. She was a great help with ordering and understanding how the whole process worked. The customer service was some of the best I have ever experienced; it felt as if they were interested in my day, and gave me a friendly and personable experience overall.
913 Nutrition provides shake and tea options along with their most popular option, the combo where you can get one of each. Step one of picking a combo is choosing between Lit teas or Energizing teas. The Lit teas have fun and crazy flavors while the Energizers are more typical tea options, both being under 24 calories, therefore giving a nice healthy option. Step two entails picking a shake, which can be a tad overwhelming seeing as they have multiple delicious options. The shake is packed with protein and is under only 250 calories. After ordering, you have the option of posting to social media for a 913 promotion which in turn gets a dollar off of your combo. The combo came to a total off $14 before the social media post. Although it sounds steep, I believe it is totally worth it after you take into account the great atmosphere and amazing product.
It truly is an exciting and new experience, perfect for teenagers. During my trip I got the S’mores shake and the Cherry Limeade Llit tea. Having two drinks is definitely a lot to consume but I do recommend it because you get to try different flavor profiles. The S’mores shake had a good consistency not to think or thick. It came with graham cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate chip toppings which added a lot to the drink. I thought the S’mores shake was really good and would recommend to others! The Lit tea I got really packed a punch. It was very sweet but had a really good flavor. I will definitely go again for the customer service and to try different drinks.
