Sub-state basketball tickets will be $5 for students tonight. Student identificationss do not apply for sub state games.

Did you eat dinner last night? Did you have food in the cabinets when you went to get breakfast this morning? Not everyone is so blessed. Please consider those less fortunate and fill a sack and bring it to school for the Harvesters food
drive. We only have eight more days. Students can do this. Lets do a last minute push to fill the barrel.

Voyager students: learn how to make your writing stronger on Thursday, March 8 during silver three. No packet is required.

Applications are now available for Broadcast or Video Production classes for next year. Pick up an application in room
C103B.

Any student interested in taking Pre-AP chemistry needs to complete a spring assignment. They are available in the
counseling office.

Students currently enrolled in AP classes can now sign up and pay for the AP exams in the counseling office. Each exam is $87.00 and checks should be made out to Mill Valley High School. Please name each Advanced Placement test that you are paying for in the memo section of your check. The exam sign up and fee payment deadline is Wednesday, Mar. 7. Each AP exam will be administered here on the date and time designated by the College Board in May and a listing of the testing schedule can be found on the counseling webpage.

Openings still remain in the final ACT test prep class of the year for college bound juniors and sophomores needing qualifying scores to participate in the dual credit program next year with Johnson County Community College in AP or College Now english, math, and science classes. The cost of the class is $80 and the class will fill before the Monday, Mar. 26 class registration deadline. Go to www.actstudent.org to register for the ACT test. Friday, Mar. 9 is the registration deadline for the Saturday, April 14 ACT test.

Any student interested in participating in a spring break or summer humanitarian trip to Guatemala please see art teacher Jodi Ellis to pick up a flyer with pertinent and time sensitive information.

Prom tickets are now on sale. Here is the breakdown of the cost. $5 for every senior who paid last year as a junior. $40 for every senior who did not attend last year. $40 for juniors until Friday, March 2. $45 for juniors until Friday, March 30. $50 for juniors until Friday, April 13. $55 for juniors and seniors at the door. $3 for parking passes bought in advance. You must keep them and have them for that night. $5 for valet parking the night or bought at Club 1000. See registrar Deana Thom for tickets.

Our first prom work night will be Monday, March 5 directly after school. Anyone who wants to get started during seminar is welcome to come then.

Here are the After Prom details: After Prom permission forms for students and guests are available in the office. Students must also have an outside guest dance permit on file in the office. Monday, March 5 to Thursday, March 8- students must turn in permission slips and their money to be registered for the prom dress- good up to $250, the $129 tuxedo rental and the corsage ($25 value) or boutonnière ($10 value) This offer is only good through the end of the final lunch period on Thursday, Mar. 1. The winners will be announced during seminar on Thursday, March 8. If students wish to turn their paperwork in early, they may turn it into secretary Lynn Bath in the office and we will make sure they get registered to win. We will check them off on our registration list. There will also be $5 unlimited play cards available for sale that week. The final registration date for After Prom is Friday, March 30. There will be no tickets sold at the door.

Juniors: there will be an informational meeting about the NROTC Scholarship process during Seminar on Thursday, March 1. If you are interested in attending, please sign up in the counseling office.
