The freshman boys B basketball game has been moved to 7 p.m. tonight. Be here and ready by 6:15 p.m. Remember to
bring both uniforms.

Freshman A basketball practice will start at 5 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m.

All students from art teacher Jodi Ellis’ 1st semester classes who left their silk screen t-shirts, batiks and or oil paintings in her room need to claim them by the end of the week or they will be recycled.

All Prom committee members must see Ellis today after school if you want to go on the field trip to Club 1000.

All Jag and Art Club members interested in helping with the Chili Bowl sale, please come sign up in Ellis’ room, art teachers Erica Crist’s room Jerry Howard’s room.

Anyone interested in helping with Heart to Heart at the warehouse on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. packing supplies please sign up on Ellis’ door. More information will be provided on the sign up sheet or see junior CJ Hopkins.

Anyone interested in attending Harvesters on Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. please sign up on Ellis’ door.

Students who are interested in traveling to Paris, France and Madrid, Spain in the summer of 2013 with foreign language Edith Paredes and Kim Service should have received an informational email. If your parents did not receive the email, please pick up the letter from the volleyball folder outside Service’s room, C210.

We will have lost and found items in the commons this week. We will be donating items not claimed. Please check the table and clothes rack for your items. Jewelry, keys and small items will be in the office.

Friday, Feb. 10 is the Johnson County Community College spring enrollment deadline for students wanting the additional five credits in Spanish four and French four. The JCCC admissions office will be open this Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9a.m. to 1 p.m. for those foreign language students needing enrollment assistance.

Tomorrow during seminar, MVTV will be having a contest and the winner will get a gift certificate to eat at a restaurant. It costs $2 to enter and it’ll be in the auxiliary gym. You’ll need two people. One partner will be holding the other up. If you’re interested, see sophomore Hannah Reichle and junior Brenna Iskra in broadcast journalism teacher Cindy Swartz’s room, C103. Sign up before tomorrow.

The varsity boys basketball team overcame an 11 point halftime deficit to beat Turner, 69-65 last night. Junior Nathan Stacy scored 30 of his 32 points in the second half to lead the team to the win. In addition, both the junior varsity and freshman teams earned victories last night.
