Daily announcements for Wednesday, April 4

There will be a mandatory junior class meeting in the auditorium today and a senior class meeting in the auditorium tomorrow during seminar. We will announce the release during seminar.

Juniors and seniors are voting for Prom candidates tomorrow.

On Friday, April 6, NHS will be having another breakfast burrito sale. Burritos will be $2 each and juice boxes will be $1
each. The sale will start at 7:15 a.m. in the main foyer. Bring your empty stomachs and money on Friday, April 6 morning.

Voyager students: do you want to know nine things successful people do differently? Sign up and take a packet for the
pullout on Wednesday, April 11 during blue one.

We are ticketing students who are illegally parked. Students please make sure that you park in regular parking spots. Do
not park in handicap, visitor, staff or any area striped for no parking.

Midsummer Night’s Dream cast: at tomorrow’s rehearsal, those who are called should bring in their costume pieces. See drama teacher Jon Copeland’s website for more info.

There will be no Ed-tech classes in Eudora on Friday, April 6. Ed-tech students will need to report on time for their second block classes at 9:20 a.m.

Jag members: only 2 came to the meeting on Monday, April 2 and no one has signed up to do face painting for Saturday, April 7. I need you to sign up in my room or I will be forced to cancel it. We have painted faces for the run for mercy for ten years now. Please sign up. You will be only working for three hours, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Order your corsage, bouquet or boutonniere for prom. Orders will be taken during lunch through Tuesday, April 10. All orders are prepaid. Order pick up will be Friday, April 13, during seminar. Corsages are $15, bouquets are $18 and boutonnieres are $7.50. This is a fundraiser for the Connections class.

Cheer tryouts will be held Wednesday, April 11 through Friday, April 13. We are very excited to see you on Wednesday, April 11 and can’t wait for our spirit season to start.

The Mill Valley Silver Stars Dance team will be holding their auditions for next year Tuesday, April 3 through Friday, April 6.

Please stop by the counseling office for new information on employment opportunities.

  • $5 for every senior who paid last year as a junior
  • $40 for every senior who did not attend last year
  • $45 for juniors until March 30th
  • $50 for juniors until April 13th
  • $55 for juniors and seniors at the door
  • $3 for parking passes bought in advance- you must keep them and have them for that night
  • $5 for parking the night of bought at Club 1000. :  If you do not purchase the parking pass prior to Prom for $3 it will cost $5 the night of Prom

There is no valet parking. See registrar Deanna Thom for tickets.

After Prom permission forms for students and guests are available in the office. You must also have an outside guest dance permit in the office.
