All quiz bowl members who can help work the tournament after school on Thursday, Feb. 2 please come to science teacher Mary Beth Mattinlgy’s room after school today. Other students who said they can help please come too.

All prom committee members must see art teacher Jodie Ellis today or tomorrow after school if you want to go on the field trip to Club 1000.

All Jag and art club members interested in helping with the chili bowl sale, please come sign up in Ellis’ room, art teacher Erica Crist’s room or art teacher Jerry Howard’s room.

Anyone interested in helping with Heart to Heart at the warehouse on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. packing
supplies, please sign up on Ellis’ door. More information will be provided on the sign up sheet or see junior CJ Hopkins.

Anyone interested in attending Harvesters on Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 3- 6:30 p.m., please sign up on Ellis’ door.

Students who are interested in traveling to Paris and Madrid in the summer of 2013 with spanish teacher Edith Paredes and french teacher Kim Service should have received an informational email. If your parents did not receive the email, please pick up the letter from the volleyball folder outside Service’s room C210.

We will have lost and found items in the commons this week. We will be donating items not claimed. Please check the
table and clothes rack for your items. Jewelry, keys and small items will be in the office.

All boys interested in trying out for the golf team need to meet in English teacher Adam Wessel’s room A203 today, Jan. 31 immediately following school.

Friday, Feb. 10 is the JCCC spring enrollment deadline for MVHS students wanting the additional five credits in Spanish
4 and French 4. The JCCC admissions office will be open this Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for those foreign
language students needing enrollment assistance.

Thursday, Feb. 2 during seminar, MVTV will be having a contest and the winner will get a gift certificate to eat at a restaurant. It costs $2 to enter and it’ll be in the auxiliary gym. You’ll need two people. One partner will be holding the other up. If you’re interested, see juniors Hannah Reichle and Brenna Iskra in broadcast teacher Cindy Swartz’s room C103. Sign up before Thursday.

Congratulations to the Jaguar Forensic team, who came home with 11 medals completing their first tournament at
Lansing High School. This took place Saturday, Jan. 28. Notable winners were Hailee Windsor, second in poetry, Josh
Duden and Hailee Windsor, 2nd in duet, and Lexi Riddle, 3rd in domestic extemporaneous speaking.

At the tournament this past weekend, junior Stephanie Lichtenauer was named the Most Valuable Player for the tournament. Joining her on the All Tournament team were juniors Tanner Tripp and Brooklyn Sloop. Junior Mackenzie Conklin was selected to the All Hustle team.
