Daily announcements For Thursday, Nov. 29

All choir members will be rehearsing the group numbers for the concert in the little theater Monday, Dec. 3 during seminar.

Quiz bowl members going to St. James, please meet by the school vans directly after school. All other quiz bowl
members, our next meeting will be Monday, Dec. 3 after school. We will reconvene to plan for our home tournament.

The second December ACT test prep class will be held this evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in room B-223.

Any junior interested in serving on the prom committee or anyone who has signed up for the prom committee, we will
have our first meeting of the year on Monday, Dec. 3 during seminar in GL101. Please plan to attend or see art teacher Jodi Ellis if you can not make it.

Any students planning on trying out for bowling need to plan on attending a meeting on Monday, Dec. 3 in the senior
cafe during seminar. This meeting is mandatory.

There will be a track and field meeting in the theater on Friday, Nov. 30 during seminar for any prospective track athlete not in a winter sport.

Off-Season weights began Monday, Nov. 26 at 3:05 p.m. Workouts will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. They will be in the weight room. Anyone not out for a sport this winter is welcome.

KU is hosting an Inter-fraternity Council Experience Night at their Edwards Campus in Overland Park on Wednesday,
Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. for senior men and their families to provide information about the Greek community and to explain the fraternity recruitment process. Interested seniors may register by going to the KU Admissions website.

The head track and field and cross country coach of Baker University will be here on Wednesday, Dec. 5 during seminar. Any track or cross country athlete who is interested in competing at the next level, or would just like some information, please plan to attend.

This week’s activity of the week is the Best of the Midwest Competition hosted at Olathe Northwest. Cheer is performing at 3:55 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.. Admission is $5 for students. Come out to support our cheerleaders and earn points for your class.

The girl’s basketball team opens the season tomorrow night with games at Piper. Girls’ varsity action begins at 5:45 p.m. Come to Piper and support your girls basketball team.

Detentions are in room A101.
