Sculpture and Art Foundations first semester students: please pick up your artwork from art teacher Erica Crist today or tomorrow.

Student council’s “Open Mic Night” is Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 7 p.m. to 8:30pm in the commons. All students are welcome to attend. If you would like to perform, please see Crist, math teacher Jessica DeWild, or a student council member to sign up. A sign up sheet is also on the StuCo bulletin board in the foyer.

Voyager students: Don’t miss the fun. Pick up your packet for the seminar “Creativity– The Importance of Play” on Thursday, Jan. 26, Blue three.

Stop by the counseling office for information about a recently posted job opportunity.

Students interested in learning more about travelling to Madrid, Spain and Paris, France with foreign language teachers Edith Paredes and Kim Service in June of 2013 should attend to an informational meeting after school on Friday, Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. The meeting will take place in room C 212. You need to be either enrolled in either language or to have taken it for two years to be able to be part of the group. Traveling gives you a wonderful opportunity to fully experience the language you have been learning in class.

If you are a current or former AP English student and are interested in the Brittania 2013 trip, please consider bringing your parents to an informational meeting Friday, January 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the media center. Thursday is the last day you may sign up and receive the $200 early signing discount. You will have the opportunity to sign up at meeting itself or once you get home and still receive the discount. Hope to see you there.

The first February ACT Prep Class will meet this evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in room B-223 for those students that have pre-registered and paid the course fee.

The wrestling team defeated Shawnee Heights here at home last night 43-36. The following individuals won last night.
Sophomores Landon Scott, CJ Beran, Daniel Gray, Tyler Dickman, Bryan Burnett, Jake Ellis, and seniors Christian Service and Zach Callahan. The team would like to thank all the students who came out and supported the wrestling team last night.
