Daily announcements for Monday, Oct. 31

All choir members should turn in their fundraising sheets and money today by 3 p.m.

Jag members: do not forget about our trip to Harvesters on Wednesday, Nov. 2 after school. We will meet in Mrs. Ellis’ room. Please remember to bring a sack or non-perishable food for our donation.

Get your tickets for “The Wizard of Oz” now. See Mr. Copeland to order your tickets. Each student may get a $3
ticket with student identification. Regular admission is $6. Saturday is sold out, but tickets are still available for Tuesday, Nov. 8; Wednesday, Nov. 9 and Thursday, Nov. 10. Show time is 7 p.m. each night.

Wizard of Oz Cast: all are called tonight at 3:30 p.m. The sooner we all get act two set up to go, the sooner we begin our tech work and the sooner we get to go have Halloween.

Jostens will be here during seminar today. Seniors will need to report to the commons for a required graduation meeting. This is information regarding caps, gowns and announcements.

Any girl interested in playing soccer in the spring must attend the meeting on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the senior café during
seminar. This meeting is mandatory if you wish to play. If you cannot attend, please see coach Arlan Vomhof.

Attention trained Youth Court members: we have a case that we will be hearing on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Please stop by the
office today to sign-up to participate.

Voyager students: travel with us on Tuesday, November 2;  Blue Two, for an exciting biography study of Douglas Adams,
the creator of all the various manifestations of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. No packet required.

All boys who plan to try out for the boys basketball team should attend a required meeting during seminar today. The
meeting will be in the auxiliary gym.

For those students interested in being part of the 2011-2012 wrestling team: there will be a team meeting today, during seminar in the main gym.

Seniors: if you are interested in attending the Naval Academy, an informational meeting about the NROTC scholarship
will be held during Seminar on Thursday, Nov. 10. Please sign up in the counseling office to attend.

Juniors: the counseling office is offering a free practice ACT on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. If you’re
interested, sign up in the counseling office. The deadline to sign up is today. This Friday is the regular registration deadline for the Saturday, Dec. 10 ACT exam. Students may register on-line at www.actstudent.org .

Seniors: if you are interested in attending Colby Community College, please stop by the counseling office for a potential
scholarship opportunity.

Mill Valley will be hosting an ACT test prep class for the Saturday, Dec. 10 exam. Registration forms are available in the
counseling office and can also be downloaded from the counseling website. The class will meet from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10; Thursday, Nov. 17 and Thursday, Dec. 1. This Friday is the regular registration deadline for the Saturday, Dec. 10 ACT exam. Students may register on-line at www.actstudent.org .
