All tennis players need to dress out and report to coach Eric Ammerman’s room by 3:15 p.m.

Students please make sure that you park in regular parking spots. Do not park in handicap, visitor or any area striped for no parking. Those parking illegally will be ticketed.

Today is the last day to sign up for tomorrow’s blood drive. See art teacher Erica Crist in GL102 to sign up. All blood donors: eat and drink well tonight and tomorrow morning. Bring your picture identification and a parent permission form if you are 16 or 17.

Reminder: all Spring assignments for students wishing to enroll in Pre-AP and AP classes for next year are due this Wednesday, March 21 to the counseling office. The counseling office will be open until 4 p.m. No assignments will be accepted after 4 p.m. this Wednesday, March 21.

Voyager students: take time to check out the information for our first pullout after spring break on Tuesday, March 20 blue four, no packet required.

We will have a prom work night today after school and next Monday, March 26 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cheer tryouts will be held Wednesday, April 11 through Friday, April 13th. If you interested in trying out there is a parent and participant meeting on Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in the media center. For more information please go to cheer website. We are very excited to see you on Wednesday, April 11 and can’t wait for our spirit season to start.

This is a reminder for Science Olympiad students that we will have practice from 5:30 p.m. to7:00 p.m. tomorrow to prepare for state.

A list of accepted applicants for the Sociology of Community Service class has been posted outside room A-208.

AP chemistry students please read over experiment number 17 on buffers for tomorrow’s class.

Any student interested in taking Pre-AP chemistry needs to complete a spring assignment. They are available in the counseling office.

A few spots remain in the final April ACT prep class for this semester. No test prep class will be offered for the June ACT test date. The course fee is $80 and interested students can sign up and pay for the class in the counseling office.

They boys basketball banquet is Wednesday, March 21 at 7 p.m.. All players are reminded to look sharp for the event. Shirt and tie are required.

Prom tickets are now on sale. Here is the breakdown of the cost. $5 for every senior who paid last year as a junior. $40 for every senior who did not attend last year. $40 for juniors until Friday, March 2. $45 for juniors until Friday, March 30. $50 for juniors until Friday, April 13. $55 for juniors and seniors at the door. $3 for parking passes bought in advance. You must keep them and have them for that night. $5 for valet parking the night or bought at Club 1000. See registrar Deana Thom for tickets.

Here are the After Prom details: After Prom permission forms for students and guests are available in the office. You must also have an outside guest dance permit in the office. The final registration date for After Prom is Friday, March 30. There will be no tickets sold at the door.

Congratulations to junior Nathan Stacy for being named to the Kaw Valley all-league basketball team. This is Stacy’s
second time to awarded this honor. Stacy was also named to the Lawrence Journal World’s all-area team.
