Daily announcements for Monday, Aug. 29

Students will be allowed to submit a request to change schedules through Friday, Aug. 19. The schedule change request form is located in the counseling office and completed forms must be turned by 7:50 a.m. Friday morning. New class openings will be posted outside the counseling office by 2:00 each day.

 There is a StuCo meeting at 7:15 a.m. tomorrow morning in GL102.

 Social studies teacher Jack  Johnson’s Blue two block U.S. Government class: your three-ring notebooks are due Friday.

 Any student interested in being a member of the Blue Crew executive board please come to a brief meeting Friday morning at 7:35 a.m. in room A107.

 The volleyball program is looking for responsible and reliable students to be managers. Each team needs two to three managers. Please see coach Kim Service in room C210 if you are interested.

 Any girl interested in playing golf this fall should attend an informational meeting at 3:15 p.m. in English teacher Adam Wessel’s room, room A203.

 The Gay-Straight Alliance will meet in social studies teacher Jeff Wieland’s room A211 on Friday at 3:05 p.m.

The fall driver’s ed sign up forms are now available on line and in the office. If you are interested and are 14 years old, please get your instructional permit now. Class starts Aug. 29.

 Attention all freshmen voyager students: The first pullout of the year, “The Ins and Outs of the Voyager Program” is mandatory and will be Monday, Aug. 22 Silver one block.

 Attention all senior voyager students: the student requested recommended pullout –“Special Issues for Upperclassmen Voyager Students” Voyager Students session is Wednesday, Aug. 24 Silver one block.

 Attention all sophomore and junior voyager students: The student requested recommended pullout –“Special Issues for Upperclassmen Voyager Students” is Friday, Aug. 26 Silver one block.

 Students: at the end of the school day please use stairways other than the main stairway if possible in order to avoid over-crowding. There are stairways halfway down the C-Wing and A-Wing for you to use to help get up or downstairs more quickly.
