There is a cross country meeting in the senior café during seminar. Please bring a pen or pencil.

Attention Spanish 4 students: the deadline to turn in your permission slips is tomorrow. No permission slip means no field trip.

A boys basketball meeting will be held on Monday, May 7 during seminar to discuss summer basketball camps and tournaments. All boys interested in playing basketball next year should attend.

Results of the Mayhem talent show tryout are posted on the office window. Thank you to everyone who vied for a spot
in the show.

Mayhem mud volleyball and dodge ball sign ups are during lunch this entire week. Seniors may sign up during lunch to
play in the faculty verses student basketball game.

There will be a senior class meeting on Thursday, May 3 during seminar. Seniors will report to seminar. This meeting will take the entire seminar.

A “Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed next Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 at 7 p.m. each night. Mark your calendars to see this awesome production. Tickets are $3 for students with student I.D. They may be purchased from drama teacher Jon Copeland starting today.

All Mill Valley students who are not currently singing in a choir and wish to audition for next year need to see director Sheree Stoppel for audition music and information. There are four choirs at Mill Valley and all are accepting new singers.

Driver’s education forms for the summer session are now available in the office and online. Class will begin Monday, June 4. Classes meet from 10-11:30 a.m. on Monday through Thursday each week for three weeks. Cost is $200.

Voyager Students: join us for “Passport to Intrigue”– critical & creative writing and more on Thursday, May 3 during silver two. No packet is required.

All books and materials checked out today and for the remainder of the school year will be due back in the media center
by Friday, May 10. Please be certain all checked out materials are back by that time.

Attention seniors: the list for those students with overdue books and/or fines due in the media center is now posted by the media center doors. Seniors will need to return books and pay fines as well as other responsibilities before receiving their diploma. Check out the list on the window and take care of these responsibilities at your earliest opportunity.

The application deadline to continue or create a new club is today. All clubs must have a certified teacher as a sponsor. If you wish to create a new club please obtain your teacher sponsor, then see assistant principal Matt Fedde for the required paperwork. All applications are due to Fedde by the end of the day, no exceptions.

Attention Seniors: please do not forget that Friday, May 4 is the deadline to turn in your scholarship form to the counseling office. This scholarship information will be included in the awards assembly and on the graduation program, so it’s important that we receive your information. Extra copies of the form are available in the counseling office.

Attention current freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The University of Kansas will once again host the Rotary Youth
Leadership Academy from Sunday, June 3 to Thursday, June 7. This program is designed to help you develop leadership skills and abilities, promote ethical behavior, and facilitate personal growth and self-awareness. Program cost is $300 and deadline to apply is this Friday, May 4. Stop by the counseling office for more information.

Please congratulate senior Regan Godwin on making the cheerleading team at Mid-America Nazarene University and senior Haley Grigsby for making the cheerleading team at Emporia State University.
