Daily announcements for Friday, Sept. 30

All track and field athletes not in a fall sport: please come to a short meeting on Monday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 a.m. in social studies teacher Chris Dunback’s room A213.

Science Olympiad will be meeting on Monday, October 3 during seminar in A207.

All JAG Members interested in attending Harvesters, we have changed the date to Wednesday, Nov. 2 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. We will leave directly after school and work until 8 p.m. If you would like to attend, please sign up in art teacher Jodi Ellis’s room GL101

The counseling office has received information on an employment opportunity for a baseball or football player. Information is posted on the bulletin board in the counseling office.

GSA members who volunteered to bring candy or decorations for Homecoming, please bring your supplies to social studies teacher Jeff Wieland in room A211.

Outside guest dance passes are in the office. They must be signed and returned by Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Please check the lost and found rack and table in the commons. Jewelry and keys will be in the office. If not claimed, the items will be given to charity.

Banned book week celebrates your ability to read the books you want to read, whether those books are hardback books, paperback books, even graphic novels. Stop by the media center and check out the display of books, some of which are included in the top 100 books challenged during the last decade. Exercise your freedom and read a book.
