We are ticketing students who are illegally parked. Students please make sure that you park in regular parking spots. Do not park in handicap, visitor, staff or any area striped for no parking.

Science Olympiad students: this is a reminder that we will have open lab in science teacher Alyssa Auld’s room during seminar today. Even if you are not staying for lab, please see Auld for a state permission slip.

The list of students who will be in next year’s Broadcast and Video Production classes is now posted on the door to room C103.

Any Jag member or art student interested in face painting for the Run for Mercy on Saturday, April 7 needs to see art teacher Jodi Ellis to sign up and for details.

Voyager students: don’t miss the final biography study of the year, “Steve Jobs: One Last Thing” on Tuesday, April 3 during silver 1.

Order your corsage, bouquet or boutonniere for prom. Orders will be taken during lunch through Tuesday, April 10. All orders are prepaid. Order pick up will be Friday, April 13, during seminar. Corsages are $15, bouquets are $18 and boutonnieres are $7.50. This is a fundraiser for the Connections class.

The Video Production students are hosting their annual April Fool’s Film Fest next Monday, April 2 during Seminar in the theater.  Tickets cost one dollar and can be purchased from any Video Production student or in Room C103.

Any of social studies teacher Jeff Wieland’s first semester consumer economics students who would like to pick up their completed journals or portfolios may do so before the end of the day.

Cheer tryouts will be held Wednesday, April 11 through Friday, April 13. We are very excited to see you on Wednesday, April 11 and can’t wait for our spirit season to start.

The Mill Valley Silver Stars Dance team will be holding their auditions for next year Tuesday, April 3 through Friday, April 6.

Please stop by the counseling office for new information on employment opportunities.

Get your prom tickets.

  • $5 for every Senior who paid last year as a Junior
  • $40 for every Senior who did not attend last year
  • $45 for Juniors until March 30th
  • $50 for Juniors until April 13th
  • $55 for Juniors and Seniors at the door
  • $3 for parking passes bought in advance- you must keep them and have them for that night
  • $5 for parking the night of bought at Club 1000. :  If you do not purchase the parking pass prior to Prom for $3 it will cost $5 the night of Prom

This is the final week to purchase after Prom tickets. The following is due to the front office today: $20 for each guest, forms signed by a parent and the student and $5 if you wish to purchase the unlimited playing card. You  may turn this all in to the office anytime today. We are happy to announce that we have a prize drawing this week as well: a free spray tan or VIP car detailing.

After Prom permission forms for students and guests are available in the office. You must also have an outside guest dance permit in the office.

Our Mill Valley math teams competed in the Kaw Valley Math Contest this week. Our Trig team tied for first place, and our Geometry and Algebra II teams each placed second. Congratulations to all of our mathletes for a great representation of our school.

Congratulations to senior Daniel Fleming and sophomore Joe Vincent for winning the first place medal for number one doubles at the Washburn Invitational on Tuesday, March 27.
