There will be a softball meeting in the senior café on Thursday, Feb. 27 right after MVTV. Please attend if you wish to try out for the Mill Valley softball program.

Any student that chose a Pre-AP, AP, audition-based, or application-based class for the 2014-2015 school year will need to attend an informative seminar meeting regarding the class. These meetings will begin next Monday, March 3, and the meeting schedule is posted on the Counseling Office window, the office window or on the school website. Please check to see when your meeting will take place and where.

There will be a girls swim meeting in the senior café tomorrow. Anyone interested in being a swim team manager needs to bring their completed applications to the meeting also.

There will be second golf meeting tomorrow at 3:20 p.m. in room B-226.

All boys planning on participating in boys tennis tryouts from Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 7 are required to have all paperwork, including the tennis handbook, turned in to either the office or the tennis coaches by this Friday, Feb. 28. Please see boys tennis coach Eric Ammerman if you have any questions.

All track and field paperwork needs to be completed and returned to track and field coach Cory Wurtz by this Thursday. Additional copies of paperwork can be downloaded from the track website or from Wurtz or track and field coach Chris Dunback. The first day of practice for all non-winter athletes is Monday, March 3.

Applications for Broadcast and Video Production for the 2014-2015 school year are now available from broadcast journalism teacher Cindy Swartz in room C-103.  The application deadline is Friday, April 4.

If you are interested in submitting your original fiction, poetry or artwork to this year’s literary magazine, the committee is now accepting submissions. Please stop by room A-203 and pick up an application for submission for further information.

Voyager pullouts for the week: Wednesday, Feb. 26 during Silver One, Thursday, Feb. 27 during Blue Four and Friday, Feb. 28 during Silver Two.

Any student who signed up to take the Ed-Tech tour, please stop by the counseling office for instructions.

Slots are filling up for the Read & Review meeting in the media center this Thursday. Stop in to sign up before seminar on Thursday to have the opportunity to choose a book and write a short review – and then keep the book.

Students currently enrolled in AP classes can now sign up and pay for their AP exams in the Counseling Office. Each AP exam is $89 and checks should be made out to Mill Valley. Students are required to name each AP exam they are paying for in the memo section of the check they submit for payment. The exam sign up and fee payment deadline is Thursday, March 13.

Please check the lost and found table in the commons for missing water bottles and clothing. We will donate all clothing not claimed to charity. If you have lost keys, glasses, jewelry or calculators check in the office.

There will be a spirit bus going to watch the state wrestlers at Wichita on Friday. The bus will load at 8 a.m. and return at 9 p.m. Sign up is first come, first serve and sign up and permission form deadline is noon on Thursday.
