Boys swim places 13th at state

The team competed from Thursday, Feb 16, to Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center

The boys swim dive team placed 13th place out of 27 teams at state Feb. 16-18 at the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center in Lenexa.

Swim state finishers:

Senior Anthony Molinaro

Third place – 50 yard freestyle

Seventh place – 100 yard freestyle

*Second team all-state honors

Senior Adam Budimlija

Fifth place – 100 yard breaststroke

Dive state finishers

Junior Max Roh – 15th place

Bryn Simpson, JAG reporter/photographer

This is junior Bryn Simpson’s first year on the JAG yearbook staff and will be taking the positions of photographer and writer. When not in room C-101, you can likely find her running for track or hanging out in Weber’s room, making beautiful pictures to decorate her classroom. When not in school, you can catch her working, listening to music, hanging out with animals or spending her late nights in the gym.

This is junior Kaylen Hyde's first year on the JAG yearbook staff and she will be taking on the positions of writer and photographer. When not in room C-101, you can find her in the little theater helping out backstage for the shows. Outside of school life, she loves working at JCPRD after school care, reading romance books and hanging out with her friends.

Alonnah Gage, Mill Valley News editor-in-chief

This is junior Alonnah Gage’s second year on the JAG yearbook staff and she will be taking on the positions of Mill Valley News Editor-in-Chief, as well as writer and photographer for the JAG yearbook. When not in C-101, you can probably find her running track, or participating in NHS, NEHS, FCA, HOSA, Art Club, or on the Relay for Life Committee.
