Welcome to senior Ashley Sagi’s room

Sagi describes her aesthetic as Victorian and light academia

February 8, 2022

Sitting at her desk, senior Ashley Sagi writes in a journal. (By Addison Bailey)

“I find my room to be different from others because it is filled with things that resemble me. It is my safe place where I spend most of my time. It is filled with all sorts of drawings, paintings, pictures, books and all sorts of knick knacks. I have leaned towards liking Victorian and light academia aesthetics to help me decorate my room. I look towards these aesthetics for inspiration because I like portraying the things that make me happy. I love art so it was important for me to provoke that through my room. My favorite item in my room is a paint by numbers painting I have hung up on my wall. It’s a really pretty painting of flowers in a vase.”
