This is sophomore Maggie Wieland’s first year on the JagWire newspaper staff and she is taking on the role of a designer, photographer, and writer. Along with being on staff, she is running cross country, playing basketball and soccer for the school, and a part of the Relay for Life planning committee. This is junior Leah Dresvyannikov’s first year on the JagWire staff and she will be taking on the role of a reporter and photographer. When she is not working on journalism, Leah enjoys reading, painting/drawing, and catching up with the newest series on Netflix. In addition, Leah volunteers as a volleyball coach during the week. This is junior Anna Zwahlen’s first year on the JagWire newspaper staff. She is thrilled to be getting more involved in Mill Valley and to be trying new things. Anna is also involved in the National Honor Society, Scholars Bowl, GSA and is vice president for Youth for Refugees. Outside of school, Anna loves to read and spend time with her friends, as well as listen to new music and watch her favorite TV shows and movies.
This is junior Elizabeth Summa’s second year on the JagWire staff and she will be taking the role of co-photo editor. Outside of journalism, Elizabeth spends her time shopping, watching true crime documentaries on netflix, and watching Sporting Kansas City games.
