StuCo members and students from each grade level decorated hallways on Sunday, Oct. 5 in preparation for Homecoming week. Students worked from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. trying to make their class hallway the most spirited. Freshmen covered their hall and lockers with yellow, sophomores with green, juniors with red and seniors with blue.

“We need to decorate our halls to show school spirit,” junior Evan Bilyeu said. “The hall decorations [are going to impact the rest of the week] by showing other classes that we’re the best and that we’re the greatest [class] of all time.”

Freshman class treasurer Dani Crispin was looking forward to helping decorate the hallways for her first spirit week.

“[I wanted to help because] I didn’t want the [freshman] hall to look as bad as everyone thought it would,” Crispin said. “[The hallways being decorated] gets [everyone] so spirited.”

Junior Ally Henderson was among those decorating the junior hallways and lockers

“[Junior] Megan Feuerborn wanted me to help decorate the halls and I thought it looked like fun,” Henderson said. “I think it’s going to give the school a lot of spirit. Plus, it was a lot of fun participating.”
