The Robotics team won the Imagery award at the Cow Town ThrowDown competition on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The Imagery award is given to the team with the best appearance. Sophomore robotics member Joe Gunter thinks the team deserved the award.

“We implemented FIRST robotics logo into our weight reduction process. We used technology to basically etch the logo into the side of our robot’s scissor lift,” Gunter said.

Sophomore robotics member Andrew Hecht thinks the team did really well.

“For the minor experience our drivers had, we did really well. We had completely new drivers [for the competition],” Hecht said.

The Robotics building season starts in the middle of February.
