Returning office secretary Julie Rugenstein returns to the Mill Valley office for its warm and fun environment

Mill Valley News: Describe something on your desk or in your classroom/office that has special meaning to you?

Julie Rugenstein: Last year I got nominated for an award called the Making a Difference Award.

MVN: What is your background? What did you do before you came to MV? 

JR: I was the secretary at Horizon [Elementary] for five years.

MVN: What do you do in your free time outside of school?

JR: I like to do puzzles. 

MVN: What college did you attend? 

JR: I went to Pima Community College

MVN: What was your major/minor?

JR: I went [to Pima Community College] to be a manicurist 

MVN: What are your first impressions of Mill Valley?

JR: It’s just a fun environment, very warm.

MVN: What MV events are you looking forward to attending?

JR: Well, graduation, I have a son here. Football and basketball games. I also have a daughter in the musical. 

MVN: Why did you apply to Mill Valley? Why did you choose to work at Mill Valley?

JR: I just love working here. I wanted to come back and there was a spot available.
