The Quiz Bowl varsity team went to St. James Academy on Thursday, Nov. 3 for a meet. They won five matches and lost six matches.
The Quiz Bowl had one other meet this year where they placed third in their pool. At a meet, 18 schools are divided equally, into two division pools.
From past experience, sophomore varsity member Alyssa Hobson felt more confident in this meet.
“I’ve heard a lot more of the questions and now I know the answers to those questions. I can answer questions more frequently, than before,” Hobson said.
The next the varsity meet is on Thursday, Nov. 10 at Olathe Northwest High School.
