Senior interviews commence

Counselors will be meeting with seniors to discuss their post-secondary plans. These meetings offer students insight into the college application process as well as earning financial aid and scholarship money, according to the counseling office.

Students will discuss their plans for life after graduating high school, goals they have for their senior year, ACT and SAT test scores, class ranking, GPA and various other aspects of completing high school. It is also a time for students to ask any questions they may have about both finishing their high school career and college life.

According to the counseling department, it may be more beneficial to students if they come to their interview prepared with a few questions in mind for their counselor, create some short- and long-term goals for themselves and take a look at the various resources the counseling office offers on their website before attending their interview if they are unsure of their plans after high school.

Interviews will be take place between seniors and their corresponding counselor. Lengths of interviews will vary, but they should not take very much time. Assigned counselors are as followed:

Counselor Patricia Chandler: students with last names beginning with letters A-E

Counselor Erin Hayes: students with last names beginning with letters F-K

Counselor Lisa Bozzoli: students with last names beginning with letters L-Ri

Counselor Chris Wallace: students with last names beginning with letters Ro-Z
Interviews can be scheduled in the counseling office. Seniors can also contact their assigned counselor via email.
