Soccer beats Wyandotte High School 2-1

The boys soccer team was at it again Thursday, Oct. 13, playing against the Wyandotte High School Bulldogs. At the end of the second period the score was 2-0 Jaguars.

Second period started and neither the Jaguars nor the Bulldogs could get a hold of a goal. Finally at 23 minutes on the clock, the Bulldogs scored their first goal. With the clock running down junior right mid-fielder Hugh Ebb made an attempt to score, missing by inches.

The Bulldogs played tough, inuring Ebb in the shin with less than two minutes on the clock. The final score, a Jaguar’s win of 2-1.

The team’s next home game is Monday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. versus Lawrence Free State High School.
