The team defeated Aquinas in overtime Friday Nov. 22 and will play Wichita-Northwest for the state championship

The football team played at Saint Thomas Aquinas Friday, Nov. 22 in the sub state championship game, defeating Aquinas 34-31.

In the first half, Aquinas lead with a score of  21-14. Jaguars tied the game in the final 3 seconds of the fourth quarter, going into overtime. Pushing into the endzone, running back Tyler Green scored, ending the game 34-31. 

The team will move on to play at Pittsburg State University against Wichita Northwest for the 5A state championship Friday, Nov. 29.
