Bring out the popcorn, because I have a great movie recommendation for you guys. If you’re looking for a great comedy, I think you’ll like this one.

“Big Daddy” stars Adam Sandler along with Cole and Dylan Sprouse (a.k.a. Disney Channel’s Zack and Cody). It’s about this man named Sonny Koufax who lives in the city with his friend Kevin Gerrity. While Sonny’s roommate goes to China, a  boy named Julian shows up at his doorstep, claiming Kevin is his father. Unsure of what to do, Sonny says he’s Kevin Gerrity and takes care of Julian while Kevin is away. The two do a bunch of mischievous things any little boy would want to do.

It’s definitely one of my favorite movies because it’s very different from regular Adam Sandler films. It involves a father-son type of love and still has some mature humor. “Big Daddy” is for sure one of the classic Adam Sandler movies. The relationship Sonny and Julian build throughout the movie is adorable. They become more of best buds than father and son. Sonny and Julian do all kinds of things from going to McDonald’s and getting breakfast to helping Sonny pick up pretty girls at the park.

Trouble begins to start when the social services agent that had been working on Julian’s case finds out some information he shouldn’t. Sonny gets into some legal trouble and tears are being shed from both Sonny and Julian. I won’t spoil too much, but things get very emotional after this.

I would 100 percent recommend this movie to anyone who’s looking for a comedy. This one is in my top 10 for movies and number 2 for Adam Sandler movies, behind “Happy Gilmore.” Overall, it’s a great and very cute movie for anyone.

See you next time!
