After cutting potatoes, senior Chloe Carson drops them into a heated pan to cook. Students in the Culinary Essentials class participated in a final assessment based on the TV show “Chopped.” They were each given a bag with mystery ingredients to incorporate into a breakfast-themed dish. They were assessed based on their cooking skills, organization and creativity of using their ingredients.
