Blog: What the pluck, Farrah?

“Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham, 20, has put herself under public scrutiny after her latest parenting fiasco landed her in hot water. Or perhaps hot wax would be the more appropriate wording.

Last Saturday, Abraham posted a blog entry on Sulia, in which she admitted to waxing her three year old daughter’s, Sofia Abraham, unibrow. She starts out the entry by recalling her questioning of whether it was the correct parenting move.

“But recently I could not ignore [her unibrow],” Farrah said. “I remember when I was little I had a unibrow, but I couldn’t remember if there was an age limit, a rule!”

Yes, Farrah, there’s a rule. I’m not a mom and even I know it. It states that you wait to wax your child’s unibrow until they’re ballsy enough to do it themselves. If I were Sofia I would call Child Protective Services on Farrah; how is it ok for a mom to force hot wax onto her toddler’s still sensitive skin? They don’t say “soft as a baby’s bottom” for no reason.

Apparently Sofia put up a fight after Farrah started the waxing, but she calmed her down by convincing her it was a “cool science project.” I’m so sure, Farrah. Sofia then fell asleep and Farrah finished getting rid of the hair with tweezers.

She ended the blog post by stating how she felt “like a good mom.” Note that this was right after she explained Sofia’s reaction the next morning.

“She was more intrigued now to be ok with upkeeping her non-unibrow,” Farrah said. “I could tell she was proud.”

Now this is downright disgusting, mother of the year. At this age, your daughter should be concerned with teaching herself to be potty trained and memorizing the alphabet. But now, she is being taught at a young age to be concerned with the way she looks.

But then again, I guess we’re talking about the “Teen Mom” star that used her money from the show to get a rhinoplasty, chin implant and breast augmentation.
