Blog: Results of Powder Puff and food drive

Students and parents lined up along the Jaguar Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 7 for the annual Powder Puff game. This was one of the greatest turnouts we have had in several years.

The senior girls defeated the junior girls 14-7 in triple overtime.

This week we also hosted a food drive that unfortunately did not go as well as we planned. StuCo did not promote it as well as we had wanted to. Even with the food drive being a class competition there wasn’t enough student participation.

Today StuCo will also be participating in the school-wide lip dub. To boost school spirit for the music video, we passed out spirit beads and made today a spirit day. We will also being having an assembly while the lead roles are recording. All state qualifiers will be announced during the assembly.

Stay tuned for more StuCo updates next week.
