Blog: Looking ahead to second semester

The past two StuCo meetings have been filled with important decisions along with looking ahead for next semester.

At one of our recent meetings we discussed the pros and cons of changing the finals schedule. It was nice to be able to take a break from planning events. After we voted and expressed our opinions we gave the information we gathered to a teacher who was attending the Calendar Committee meeting. If you would like to know how your representative for your grade voted you should ask them. On Thursday, Dec. 8, we announced the events we will be hosting next semester. At the end of January we are hosting an Open Mic Night. This will be open to anyone who would like to perform a musical piece, stand-up comedy, or poetry. During the beginning of February, StuCo will be selling candy grams during lunch. All the proceeds will be going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This is one of our annual fundraisers.

Check-in next week for the official finals week spirit day schedule.
