Our meeting this week was fairly short. We made posters to advertise for the finals week spirit days.
Monday, Dec. 17 is snow -ear day; students are welcome to wear winter hats, gloves, and scarves. On Tuesday, Dec. 18 StuCo is serving free hot chocolate in the commons. Wednesday, Dec. 19 is festive-holiday-sweater day and on Thursday, Dec. 20, StuCo will be serving hot chocolate in the commons again.
I think making finals week a spirit week lessens the intensity and stress of finals week. If students get to school early to study for a test they can have a warm drink before class starts.
Check-in again once winter is over to see what StuCo is planning for the second semester.
