Athletes sign letters of intent in group signing ceremony
After a postponed ceremony due to inclement weather, 15 athletes signed letters of intent in the auxiliary gym on Friday, Feb. 7 in front of family and friends.
Senior Abigail Sieperda signed with the University of Arkansas for soccer. She said that the school felt like a natural fit for her.
“I love the town that [the university] is in, and I connected with the coaches right away,” Sieperda said. “I’m just excited to go and start a new chapter in my life.”
Senior Alexa Schriner signed with Kansas Wesleyan University for softball, and is looking forward to being a part of a new team.
“I’m ready to work hard to help achieve a lot of wins,” Schriner said.

Alana Flinn is a third year staffer who is looking forward to a year full of new experiences.
