During the week of Oct. 6- 10 I reviewed the school lunch options every day of the week. Some were delicious, some were not, some were average, but they all needed more balance in terms of nutrition. Every meal had its pros and cons, but the journey of tasting them all and discussing the flavors with the people at my table is what made them special.
Overall, this week long cycle of school lunch had its ups and downs along with its middles, as declared by me and my adjacent peers. The majority of the days had average tasting options. I was disappointed by the famous Cheese Bosco Sticks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the French toast sticks and the nostalgic feelings they brought me even if it wasn’t the most balanced meal.
