What’s that show? It’s “New Girl!”

“New Girl” is a comedy consisting of a girl, three guys and a lot of weird adventures

Winter break is right around the corner and that means it’s time for the Netflix binging to begin, so curl up with a fluffy blanket and some hot chocolate because I have a good show for you.

“New Girl” starts with the main character, Jess, getting cheated on by her boyfriend who she lives with. She moves out and stumbles upon an ad for a loft. Thinking three girls lived in the apartment, she goes to check the place out. Little did she know, the loft housed three guys: Nick, Schmidt, Coach and, later on in the series, Winston. After some discussion between the men, she gets to move in.

After they start living together, there’s plenty of odd things that happen in this one apartment. The squad of four have a game called “True American” that makes no sense as to how it’s played. In the show they have a certain protocol for killing a spider and the infamous douchebag jar comes into play more times than one.

“New Girl” has more mature humor, but is still really enjoyable. This show is not just for girls, despite the name. Guys, you can watch it too. One of my personal favorite episodes is season two episode 25, when Jess’ friend, Cece, is getting married and Winston releases a badger in the middle of the ceremony. The group also gets to meet the late, great Prince in season three.

I would recommend “New Girl” because it’s outrageously funny and very high quality entertainment. I give “New Girl” an easy 10/10. You should check it out!

See you next time!
