Social studies teacher Jeff Wieland

1. What is the best part of your day?

“When I actually get to teach people in the classroom.”

2. What’s your favorite television show?

Burn Notice. That show’s awesome. Always entertaining, there’s never a bad episode.”

3. PC or Mac?

“PC.”

4. What is your favorite hobby?

“I only have one hobby, watching the Phillies and the Eagles. Mainly the Eagles.”

5. Who is your favorite hobbit?

“My favorite hobbit is Pippin. Wait, no, it’s actually Sam. He has a good heart.”

6. If you could be any person from history, who would it be?

“Alexander the Great, because he came the closest out of anyone of unifying the world. I would’ve had the best chance of acquiring world peace. There could’ve been no turmoil in the Middle East.”

7. What was your most embarrasing moment in high school?

“One time I had to smack raw eggs on myself and roll down a hill with sticker bushes. I couldn’t wash the three eggs off my head or take the stickers out the entire day, because I was auctioned off as a freshman to a group of juniors for a senior fundraiser. They stopped doing the fundraiser after that year, because they said it was too abusive. I never got to have my revenge.”
