Seven questions with sophomore sports nut Noah Friesen

At what age did you start getting interested in sports statistics?

I started getting interested in sports at the age of five and I started getting interested in sports stats in the fifth grade.

Do you have a good estimate of who is going to make it to the Super Bowl and who is going to win it?

I think that Atlanta and Houston are going to make it to the Super Bowl and Atlanta winning it all.

What is your favorite college sports team?

My favorite college would have to be Kansas, and I love their basketball.

I’ve heard that you collect “Sports Illustrated” magazines, what is the earliest magazine that you have and what is your favorite one?

The earliest one I have is from 1970 and my favorite one is when Billy Mays hit his 3,000 baseball.

What is your favorite sport to play with your friends and what sport do you think that you are good at?

At home I love to play basketball with my friends because it gets really competitive and I would call myself good at basketball too.

Would you consider yourself an encyclopedia about all sports or just particular sports?

I wouldn’t call myself an encyclopedia about all sports but I could tell you a lot about basketball, football, and soccer.

If you had the chance to spend the day with Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, or Lebron James who would you choose and what would you do?

I would choose to spend the day with Lebron James and try and take him one on one.
