Senior track team member Madison Acree

1. What events do you compete in for track?

“I throw shotput and discus.”

2. What do you eat for breakfast?

“Either oatmeal or Cheerios. I eat Wheaties sometimes, and that gives me the energy to get through the day. It’s the breakfast of champions.”

3. What is your favorite color?

“Purple, because it’s pretty and it’s the color of the college I’m going to next year. I have a North Face that color and my walls have purple fabric on them.”

4. What is your favorite television show?

Glee, because it’s cheesy but still entertaining. I like Rachel the best; she’s weird. It’s just interesting to see what she does, because she’s kind of a freak.”

5. What hobbies have you had growing up?

“Before I sold my dirt bike, I dirt biked. I ice skated for seven years; I could do a double axel before I had to stop because softball got too busy. I crochet. I’m not that good; I’ve been making a blanket for four years.”

6. Do you have a job?

“I work at Sutera’s Italian Restaurant. I’m a waitress and I do it because the people there are so much fun to work with. And it’s good money.”

7. What is a fun fact about yourself?

“I watch too much Nick Jr. My best friend’s brother is two so that’s probably why. Bubble Guppies, now that’s a good show.”
