Maggie Dieckhoff excited to teach high school students after six years with middle schoolers

JagWire: What are you most excited about your new job?

Maggie Dieckhoff: I was excited to teach high school because I taught middle school for 6 years in this district.

JW: What are you looking forward to about being at MV?

MD: I would say it is exciting to teach all the foods classes, and I enjoy that part of FACS.

JW: What led you to want to teach FACS?

MD: I enjoyed it in college, so that’s what I decided I wanted to do.

JW: What is a fun fact about yourself?

MD: I like traveling, so I travel as much as I can. I have two boys, eight and five, [and] I live here in the district because I get to see people out and about.

JW: What is your favorite place you traveled?

MD: Probably Jamaica.
