The theater department completed its show week of its spring production, a Triple One Act-Stravanganza. The production, which includes three shows — “The Importance of Being Earnest,” “Ten Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse” and “A Night in the Ukraine,” ran Tuesday, April 28 through Friday, May 1.

After some difficulty claiming the rights to one solitary production, drama teacher Jon Copeland searched for an alternative, which led him to choose three separate one act plays each with a different storyline.

“I didn’t know how the flow was going to be show to show to show,  it was really fun to see how all that came together,” Copeland said. “It’s been a great run.”

According to freshman Julia Feuerborn, the performances went smoothly, with the exception of minor errors.

“The play has been going really well and I’m so proud of all of [the actors],” Feuerborn said. “There have been a few little mistakes made during practices and the show but they’re really small.”

Feuerborn reflects positively on her time spent with the rest of the cast.

“It has most certainly been the best experience of my life,” Feuerborn said. “I love everybody in it and knowing that this is my last time with that cast, particularly the seniors, just breaks my heart because they’re such great people and I love them.”
