The boys soccer team beat district rival Bonner Springs High School 8-0 Tuesday, Sept. 11.

With 11 minutes left in the first half, the Jaguars scored their first goal, leading the game 1-0. At the beginning of the second period, senior right-midfielder Hugh Ebb scored a goal assisted by Daniel Gray to lead the Jaguars 2-0. Within ten minutes, the team scored two back-to-back goals against the Braves, upping the score to 4-0. The team continued their solid defense and shooting success until the final period was over.

Left-midfielder Teddy Gillespie believed the team played well in all aspects. “We did great on shooting, passing, and scoring.”
