This week was newspapers’ final long worknight. Of course everyone is designated to bring something throughout the months for dinner, but for this week, everyone brought their favorite food. I decided to bring tortilla roll-ups.
Every person has a different recipe for tortilla roll-ups but I think these are pretty smashing.
Ingredients:
2-3 packages of the large flour tortillas
2-8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
1-16 oz., 1 tub, of sour cream
2-4oz. cans of green chilies chopped
2-4 oz. cans of black olives chopped or minced
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix everything but the tortillas together.
Take a tortilla and spread the mixture on it, about a quarter inch thick. roll it up and wrap it in plastic wrap.
Once done with rolling them, place all of them in the freezer. Let them freeze for a minimum of four hours, but it would be best over night.
Take them out of the feezer and start to cut them in one inch increments, place them on a plate and you’re done.
It has been a blast to share all of my cooking adventures with all ya’ll. That’s what’s cookin’.
