Homecoming candidates announced

The senior class voted and after counting the ballots, the 2012 Homecoming candidates have been announced.

The queen candidates are seniors Taylor Brunson, Lisa Galvan, McKenzie Koch, Kristina Milewski and Molly Miller. The king candidates are seniors Andrew Eigsti, Blake Miles, Staton Rebeck, Jake Theis and Skyler Windmiller.

Miller was excited about her nomination.

“I was surprised that I got nominated,” Miller said. “I’m really thankful.”

Eigsti shared similar feelings.

“I feel really honored,” Eigsti said. “I didn’t expect it at all.”

The king and queen will be crowned during halftime at the Homecoming football game on Friday, Sept. 14.
